White Elephant published as a Weekly Feature by The Hooghly Review

Read the story on The Hooghly Review

This week, I’m saying thank you to The Hooghly Review for publishing White Elephant – a flash fiction story that seats you on the couch next to an extended family as they battle over White Elephant presents – and highlighting it as one of their Weekly Features.

Not known for my humor or effusive optimism in writing, it was fun to take the satire tools I usually reserve for spoken word and apply them to flash fiction. Check it out this week while it’s front and center, or find it later on in their archives.

About The Hooghly Review:

From their website:

The Hooghly Review is a digital non-profit and free-access magazine of literature, culture & arts with the aim to publish creatives in all stages of their career. Named and conceptualised by Tejaswinee Roychowdhury in July 2022, she invited fellow writer-poet and friend, Ankit Raj Ojha, onboard in October 2022. The two have since been editing the magazine, expanding and developing it, and building its foundations to humbly serve the literary community in the years to come.
